Thank you and congratulations to our marching band for representing us well in the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Everybody thinks they can write an argument because your own argument makes sense to you. But that is not the case. It takes training for your argument to make sense to others. In his Argumentative Writing Workshop, Dr. Daniel Lorca from Oakland University is providing that training, and preparing students for college writing success. He believes that writing better arguments is the key to all classes and he wants to help you gain that skill. Join him in the Community Room after school on Wednesdays.

We want you to be the best you that you can be. To do that you need to be the best student that you can be. That means engaging in every class. Focusing on learning. And doing your best. It means asking questions, using your time well, and completing tasks. To your best to be your best.

Let's please give our veterans a moment of silence at this time to show our respect and appreciation… Thank you.

And you'll keep getting reminders - like hey, quit breaking toilets and soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers in the bathrooms. But let's focus some extra energy on academics in the second quarter. Be dedicated and engaged in your learning.
