I'd like to welcome our new Head Custodian, Mr. Rance Rivers. He begins today and will be working with Mr. Chuck Everett, who will be retiring at the end of next week.

Congratulations to all the medical academy students who  participated in the HOSA regional competition.  We had 20 students qualify for the HOSA state competition.  The following students also medaled  in their event:

Nico Siemen 1st place in medical math

Godae Nwineewii 2nd place in nutrition

Melissa Toye 2nd place in nursing assisting

Dalila Livadic 1st place in researched persuasive writing and speaking

Good luck at the HOSA state competition in April!

Our choir program hosted District Solo and Ensemble this weekend. Our student volunteers and performers did an outstanding job!  We had 42 events participate and, for the first time in school history,  every single event earned a high enough score to participate in State Solo and Ensemble!   There were also 5 events that earned PERFECT scores!  Those events were solos by: Alina Bucanovic, Julia Clark, Julia Johnson and Mackenzie Martin and also a performance by the SSAA Quartet, consisting of: Alina Bucanovic, Julia Clark, Julia Johnson and Evannah Stanley.  We also had 2 events that were just 1 point away from a perfect score, and those were performances  by:  Abigail Schmidt and Evannah Stanley.

Congratulations to everyone and good luck at States!
