Awards Night
Awards include: Academic (3.5 cumulative GPA for this school year), Art, Band, Choir, NJAHS, Spelling Bee, NJHS and Science Olympiad. In addition, the Jaguar Award goes to 8th grade students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.9 for their entire middle school career.
Determining GPA: Each grade is assigned a point value (See the table below). To determine a student’s grade point average for a marking period, add the point value of the grades for all 6 classes and divide by 6. Averaging GPAs from multiple marking periods provides a cumulative GPA. GPA not rounded up for any award.

8th Grade Awards Night will be Thursday, June 4th. Students/families attend by invitation. Invitations have been mailed home.
6th and 7th Graders will have school day class assemblies to receive awards earned this year.
