Community Relations

Community Relations

With the coming of the information age, school communication needs have increased dramatically and have become more complex than ever before.

The Chippewa Valley Office of School/Community Relations provides the School District with innovative avenues of communication for both internal and external audiences. The staff consists of a director, secretary, cable coordinator, and videographers.

School/Community Relations personnel provide professional public relations counsel to school staff, and handles media relations and marketing for the School District. Staff members manage all aspects of the School District's publications, brochures, and videotapes including writing, photos, design, publishing, printing, and supervision of bulk mail. Staff members serve as liaisons between the school system and the people in the community. They prepare, administer, and analyze public opinion polls, surveys, and focus groups to gather reliable data regarding attitudes about the School District and its programs. By working with school staff, the office of school/community relations publicizes and promotes events and special programs to the school community.
