Greetings from Mrs. Gabriel!

Thunderbird Families,

First and foremost, thank you to all of the parents who helped volunteer for our first Thunderbird Ticket store of the year. Students had so much fun cashing in the tickets that they've earned for positive behavior.

It's no secret that "sick season" is officially upon us. We've had lots of sick kiddos coming through the office this week. Please use this weekend to give everything an extra scrub down - coats, lunch boxes, backpacks, etc. Encourage regular handwashing/sanitizing. Keep your children home if they aren't feeling well. We want our Thunderbirds healthy and safe - there are some nasty bugs going around so we need to be extra diligent. Thank you in advance!

Aside from the sick season, it's also the HOLIDAY Season! We have some fun things planned at Sequoyah so please join us for the fun! Below you'll find information regarding a classroom competition that allows us to help our Sequoyah families in need. Check out the PTO website regarding even more holiday festivities! PTO will be looking for volunteers to help decorate the school for holidays and Santa Shop. They'll also host a "Story Time with Santa" and put together a "Staff Favorites" tab on their website if you're looking for staff gift ideas! Make sure you stay updated on their website and Facebook page. https://sequoyahpto.weebly.com/

I've heard Sequoyah goes ALL OUT for the holidays and I just can't wait for all of the fun we have planned to unfold!

Have a great weekend!

Lots of Love,

Mrs. Gabriel

Principal
